Celebrating art in March issue, we had this adventurous idea to fusion high fashion with east & west traditional performing arts in a theatre setting. Both Chinese Opera and Ballet share long cultural histories of exquisite costume craftsmanship, dance/body movement, music, stage design and so much more; we intended to explore this rarely seen east meet west arts fusing in stylistic modern fashion approach. The visual impact was surreal and exceptional. Right, the hair & makeup and fashion wardrobe were stage purposed for this particular fashion spreads. This is about arts X fashion. And introducing traditional arts in a refreshing perspective to our readers.
